This is a project that I just had an light ball moment on. I would explain it but its very short so it best to wait. However I can give you some roughs and a sneak peak of the first panel.

Hello Viewers for 2011

Welcome to the new and improve CartoonistDude blog!

I'll try and post CartoonistDude related subjects here, but since Facebook or Tumblr is a much easier process it hard to always remember to post new things.
However, I've try to set up this blog so it easier to find all of my pages instead of linking every single new social site when directing you guys on my youtube channel.

However I am planning to open a tumblr account since its easier to link to facebook or twitter.
But this blog has history so I might as well make it a little useful for others who use blogger!

So to give a quick tour of the blog, I have the important links right at the top on the left, a little more below you see my facebook and twitter, as well as my clothing collection.

I hope the update was a bit worth it and made it much easier to find my other pages.

Start of the second half

Failed my last post idea... so we'll cancel that burn out.

So what is my post of this time?
Well it is my second year of VCA (Visual and Creative Arts) program at Sheridan.
I did a video about my first half on youtube, just after I moved. Curious to see? Check it HERE

I'm now in my second half of my course, which isn't as easy on me, but survivable despise having more classes then days off. DARN YOU ELECTIVE! (however, better then english I s'posed)

The class I choose for it was a Fantasy and Fairy Tale, yeaaaah it sound childish, but I think I could get some good ideas out of that class for future stories.

Other then that, most of my class are pretty much the same, but with slight changes.

I start each class at 8am pretty much, except for Wednesday(Day Off) and Friday(12pm class)

(Mon) I have my Digital Media class first, then I have an art business class... wondering if this will get me to launch more CartoonistDude stuff! :D

(TUE) Interpretive Drawing and then Figurative Painting (instead of just "Painting")

(WED) Figurative Sculpture followed by Surface Design (2D) change classes cause I couldn't handle the "REAL" 2D class. This one sounds more of my style plus a little more fun! :)

(FRI) Finally were back to Fantasy and Fairy Tale class.

This year should still be interesting, since it's animation portfolio time again. March 1st is my deadline!!! However I am feeling 10x more confident so this could come to my advantage! Already got loads of sketches I'm proud of, yet still in the rough stage.

Do you think I'll make it? Trust me, if I do, no one is going to miss out on the news! HaHa

So excited!!! :D

The "REAL" Jude Lizowski

FINALLY I CAN SPILL THE NEWS! haha

Anyways, anyone who has know me in person or on the web long enough will know that I'm a huge 6teen fan... apart from my Sonic fandomness.

So I'm done crazy things for the show, If you look at my dA ID I'm dress up as Jude, for no real reason. Besides having the blonde hair at the time.

In the past before there was even the 6teen.ca forums I use to post stuff on tv.com daily, once 6teen.ca was up though it didn't stop then. Then highschool came and slow it down, but not by much.... grade 11 and 12 were worse

Now that its over... and I'm in college... 6teen is a bit slower thing to talk about, until today!!!

While back I did a vlog and I dress up as Jude and everything, like as you see in my ID picture, BUT with my dirty blonde hair.

I was trying to give the voice of Jude, Christian Potenza, a helping hand with getting more views/subs (lol like he really needs it, hes an awesome voice actor!)

ANYWAYS :P

He notice my video and then sent me message about how he actually lives right near me, almost neighbours you can say XP

So he wanted to do a little experiment... TURN ME INTO A REAL LIFE JUDE LIZOWSKI!

He going to teach me how to speak like Jude, and the possibly to even talk to the other voice actor from 6teen/Total Drama

He going to teach me how to skateboard, since my level is 0... yet I have a skateboard because of 6teen when I was 13 :P

Also, going to show me how to walk and be in the mind of Jude!

In the end at this moment, he hopes to have me appear after Total Drama World Tour in September and make an appearance...

So this is all very exciting... out of all odd this happens!

Ever since I watch 6teen and knew about Christian I wanted to meet him so badly and now I'm going to be hanging out with him!

Gah, What have I got myself into!?!

I must like giving myself a really hard time because doing a live vlog did not make things easier, I so worried for making just ONE mistake.... if I do more then that I don't know how I'm going to handle this... ugh

But I got to look on the bright side, this will be quite a different style of vlogging I've EVER done... if you know me in person, you understand that I'm not the talkive on UNLESS it about Sonic or something that catches my ear.

The only reason I'm not fully worried is because it just me acting as me, not like I'm on any fancy tv show or that so I can act least be normal... Plus my whole plan is to draw stuff on cam and see how things progress from there.

Now, I really wanted to document how I felt before I start the live vlog and then how I feel when its over, I love to see what reaction I get in the end.

How I would use my Apple iPad

If I could win the iPad, I would be shocked!
I'm in my first year of college and this little iPad could truly make my life so unbelievably easy. It has everything I've been looking for!

I have to come clean, I'm terrible with dates. I also have a weakness for the simple and fast setup the iPad runs. With that in mind I believe that it wouldn't even take me a second just to add dates of projects that are due for my class, and have it remind me.

Additionally, I’m an artist; I have lots of art and photography I would LOVE to show to friends, teachers, or even a job interviewer in the future. The iPad could hold all of my drawings that can be a huge hassle to attempt to carry.
Plus, they’re the times where you’re with someone and you don't have those huge artwork pieces with you, but if I had them already on the iPad it would be soooo much more convenient!
Even if it could read SD cards I could show want I've taken with a camera on a much larger screen so no one has to push to view a photo ever again!

I'm also a vlogger and blogger. My family and friends love to see what I'm doing daily and since I don't always have the time to view my blogs, having the iPad could be a very simple check and blog about events wherever. It would really help me keep up to date and have my family know that I'm still alive at college!

Now, there are times where I like to relax and play games, use applications, listen to tunes or use facebook. I would use the iPad for this cause every now and then it great to have portable entertainment. Let it be waiting for class, sitting in a train, or sitting quietly in your room. Having the iPad would be something quick and fun to have for entertainment. I would even use the ibook feature to read more books!

They're also times where I move around a lot from being in college, and visiting friends and family, to trips to far places, and it challenging. It's a struggle to bring a computer with you back and forth. This would totally take the pain away from doing this every time, it would also take up less space than bringing an mp3 player, laptop, game device, etc.

I really do hope I can win an iPad, if not I will definitely keep it in mind. It looks like it could be very handy in the near future for my college experience!

Warm Fall

So, I got through another week of college!
I'm VERY grateful for having no 2D class though, just between you and me, it not my favorite class, and it not because of the subject. Its more to do with the fact that there could be some awesome things we can do in that class.
But the teacher we have doesn't seem to understand that too much, which really sucks.
Although we didn't have class I DID still get my project done, so in the long run I got to stay up late-ish and work on the project for nothing, except a small break.
But that small break was worth it alright, I was finally able to do other task finally like fix my bike up and clean my room up a bit. Plus draw outside! :D
Thank goodness for no class, not sure why yet but it made my day much more relaxing!

It has been very beautiful outside it's so amazing to just sit out there and think, what happen to the cold and snow that was here just last week :P
I love snow, but I'm also really loving this weather it the kind that mixes with fall weather, cold but yet warm enough to be comfortable. But I guess people today just call it Spring now huh? LOVE IT!

Went home for this weekend, not doing much here except finishing an essay for my intro to cinema class. Maybe see if my friend are around from highschool and chill with them, since they have March break while me it was finish after the first week of March.

Which reminds me!
I handed in my portfolio, not results yet. They usually come by near the end of March so this should be interesting to see if I got in this year or not... lets hope it the more positive answer. >.<

I'm giving this a shot, but with my own experiances I've never like these.

I have made my own small custom toolbar with everything CartoonDude related, I even put in things where you can chat to me in person if I'm around ,since it on the browers I should be.
Even if I'm not there you can even send me a message and I should see that right away also, this includes you awesome viewers too.

There some other simple things such as Search Engine, some of my Other Sites, plus a place to check you other emails such as msn, yahoo, etc. Plus a neat little radio, I put one dance channel in there, but not sure if anyone else will that also. Let me know if you do anyone.

6teen Finale

So I been busy with my portfolio, things seem to be running smooth. Although I still feel a bit stress by it. However, I won't be saying much today.

I just had to post this because it like A HUGE event that is a HUGE part of my life. 6teen has such a funny back story of how I started watching it, to how I didn't tell anyone I watched it, to now me having to talk about how great it is. I should tell that story another day though :P

The time has come where all good thing must end, meaning 6teen, the greatest show alive, it was unique at the time, it follow a different story setup and it was Canadian!

But now, all of this will end on February 11th, the 6teen finale...

Sheridan Portfolio

Ugh, I hate this time of year because it time for me to try and create a outstanding portfolio but yet as always, I'm completely confuse on some of the things they list.

Most of the stuff I can find easy to understand, like the biggest thing to have is Life drawings, check. Its the animal life drawing stuff that's putting me to a halt, since I suck at animal drawings. I really want to get into animation, so I'm worried I'm going to get pass again by others because of my suckish animal drawings :(

I seen other people's work and there amazing! Plus there from Sheridan so I'm doom!

I only need to know if they want something detail or simple shapes, cause I have some good rough sketches since I believe if they're too detail it might look like it from a photograph, which is what is making me feel stuck since I don't know what to aim for... ugh :L

I'll just have to hope there is a artist angle looking over me and get me into animation this year...

Other then that I been working on room sketches since that I can improve on it. I'll post some of my work tomorrow since I don't have a scanner here, but at my own place.

October is over

Still slow updates, sorry... :P

Anyways, college has still been great... but my roommate is still ruining my time. I have to clean up her messes everytime before I go to bed or when I get up in the morning... sigh, I still have to wait until the end of november before she's gone.

I had my commencement/Graduation .... which I found a disappointment just because in my head it seem a lot larger of an event. Guess my animation will just have to make it seem more awesome.

Hung out with Jeremy after wares which was fun... sadly I was up that night til 5 so I was dead tired by then so I lost my energy and was totally dull; since I can't drink.

Jeremy also came by the week after, and stay for a sleepover which was awesome, even though he had to handle my roommates habits... sigh, sorry Jer

I've now have a good common pack I hang out with, Juan, Jenna, and Alex. I'm surprise how were all pretty different and yet were like the only pack that seem normal in all our classes :P

Strange thinking about it, but I find it a lot better then highschool now.

I'm not also in Mid terms, and have everything paid for next semester, curious if my times will change... I hope not, but I'll handle if I had to. I like having thursdays off though :P

New 6teen/TDA episodes come on that day lol

Harvest/Roommates/College/Friends OH MY...way behind!

Wooooooooooooooooow...

Heh, I totally forgot about this blog, how about that? :P

Anyways, I'm defiantly not going to talk about September since its way too much stuff to fit here... BUT! I did most of september in COMIC FORM! Just need to perfect them before posting.

You know, I did expect myself doing this, but I thought I would at least post a couple of weeks in here... darn. Anyways, let just get a quick view of October then shall we? :P

So I left on the first week of october on the weekend to visit my favorite team at the Scarborough Historical Museum, which was AWESOME to see them again! Plus coming home was a nice change, you never realize how much you'll miss after you leave, EVEN if it was annoying then.

I only stayed there two days since I had to come back to school, but when I did come back... the place was TRASHED! >:(

WTH?!? I leave just once and my roommate trashes my place and then lets people in my room!?

So I had a nice couple of drunk couple having good ol' sex in my bed... gross

BUT, thats not all! they also had some in the other room that isn't even hers or mine, since its hasn't been bought. Most likely it also happen in the living area.

So also use all of my stuff for cooking and stuff, so I had to clean ALL that up too, plus beer/alcohol bottles. IT SUCKED!

Anyways, at the college everything was still going good there, we got a new member in our small group... its grown pretty large :)

There is now Me, Juan, Alex, and Jena, plus some extras that come here and there... heh I actually feel popular a little :P

I've never felt so great, even if I'm still a little quiet, they don't mind, cause they do know I can talk... but they have notice that I don't get angry easily, so they think I'm emotionless lol

Other then that, I been working waaaaay to hard; I've been working on stuff that wasn't even due, just because I couldn't remember or the teacher made a comment about it and I didn't hear it, because I had everything written down... but still didn't know.

Then just quickly back to the roomie, she was starting another party and so now she should be getting kicked out by the end of October, a perfect gift for Halloween for me... I really don't like her anymore, didn't mind her at first... but shes.... different in a bad way, so I can't wait for her to pack her bags and LEAVE! XP

BTW, Comics for September will be up soon, this will just keep you confused and up to date. Have fun trying to figure these out :D

New Beginnings

Well, first off welcome!
Welcome to this not so exciting blog of mine. :P

This is going to be a blog about my journey through College, because its going to be my first year and I can already feel the humiliation of mistakes I going to make at every turn... and the results of horrible grades (Lets hope that doesn't happen...)
Also, I like to see how my art changes, I do have a deviantART site to help with that as well, but I felt that this could be fun to work with too. Maybe I'll become famous someday and someone will find this blog and make history out of me... yeah right! HA XD

Well.. ok, I think that a little, heh
But the other reason is, I always like seeing what I've done in the past; keeping hold of my memories. Drawings, friends, school events, and pretty much anything else! I know college is going to keep me busy and stuff, but I should have enough time to write small stuff that happen every once in a while.

As of this moment, I'm actually just getting ready to pack my stuff soon since I'm moving into my place outside of the college on the 22nd, and will be meeting the two mysterious roommate I should be having. But, on the sad note, I'm going to have to leave a lot of memories behind, friends, highshcool, and a volunteer group I've been with for 3 years and been having a blast with them ever since then.
There still isn't many things to speak about right now about college because of not being there yet, but I'm sure when I move over there and come to the orientation the college has, stuff should pick up a bit quicker.
